Me Made February – Orange & silver

It is official now. My dearest husband is down with swine flu. And I thought swine flu was so “last year” ;-(

Anyway, I am still taking part in Catherine’s creative challenge Me Made February. My private nurse and intensive cleaning and disinfecting duties could only keep me away for one day ;-)

So in order to catch up, I am going to show you the self-made necklaces I wore today

... and yesterday.

Last March I was suddenly crazy about this type of necklaces. No idea why. I made about 5 of them in all different colours and I wear them a lot. Whenever I feel like my outfit needs a bit of colour I just throw one on. They are a great way to “get rid” of single beads and keepsakes. And thanks to the “colour theme” they don’t look like children’s jewellery.

Hope you had a beautiful Saturday and wish me luck that I can prevent me and the little one getting sick as well!

Hi Ninoschka,
it will be fun, when you will be making those kind of really nice necklaces in a set of two (long one for you, short one for the little one...).
My daughter loves it, when we make ourselves "sick" (Schick *) with the same necklace.
Take care and toi toi toi with the flu...
