Merry Christmas

Finally time to open up your presents as well, dearest readers, who didn’t celebrate Christmas last night. I hope you have a great time with your loved ones, with great food and great music.
I started the day with another of my favourite traditions: staying in your PJs all day. Later on, however, I will have to break this tradition, because like so many other people we will travel today to celebrate with the other side of the family tomorrow. So my wishes go out to everyone who catches a train, a plane or drives to go into the second round of Christmas celebrations tomorrow.

Have a safe and relaxed trip!

Hmm, sounds like German style: my parents place; your parents place and our xmas in between on our way from to ?
Ah well: different cultures; still try to fit in as much fun as possible

lots of love,
Gerlinde (had to swap bathers for fur-coat in the evening - yet with floaties on. Remember?) :-D 'THAT' country ?!

Gerlinde, a wish you a merry, happy Christmas. I know how difficult it is to celebrate traditional holidays in a different country, a different culture and a different climate! You just cannot replicate your traditions, you have to invent new ones or go with the flow of local traditions. So please enjoy your bathers - it is not all perfect with German Christmas either. Do you remember ;-)
